1. I've read an article over Yahoo, and the subject is COSPLAY (means costume play).
A comment there said " I appreciates people who rather do cosplay than those who listen to Jpop or Kpop".
My ten cents:
Costume Players are totally IMBA right, but how does cosplayer been compared to those who listen to Asian music (Jpop/Kpop)? Listening to Asian music is totally normal since music travels with no boundaries. They might not understand the lyrics (they can be easily translated to English by netizens anyway) that's their choice. Music is the perfection of art since the beginning of time and everybody is making one. Just like those costume players, they choose to portray a certain character that they admired and thought right or fit for their personality or outlook in life. Cosplaying is a new form of art and everybody is adapting it specially those manga fanatics. Still, my point here is "THAT"S THEIR CHOICE" and we are given the freedom to choose. Leave them alone.. :|
2. The Facebook status scenario.
2.a Here's one, "It's hard to be alone" status.
My ten cents:
Oh man, yeah I know its darn hard to be alone specially when your raising 11 kids, 20 dogs, 15 cats and you need to pay the bills whatsoever but , hahaha, even if you post it everyday as your status no one will help, so help yourself. Jezz! Anyways, if you need somebody to help you ask someone and ask them directly, he/she might be knocking on your door in a second. Don't post it on FB, he/she might not have an FB account hahah!
2.b The "I am single and sad" status.
My ten cents:
Its kinda silly since everybody is making fuzz about this kind of status and I've read few articles criticizing this kind of agony (haha). Yeah, am single but happy, can I post it as an FB status by the way? heheh!
It makes you sad because you worry too much about being single.
Let's summarize what pressures you the most:
- your best friend is already married and your not;
- your parents ask you when you will give them an apo;
- your already on your 30s;
- your xbf is already married;
- your so tired when you reach home and you long for someone to talk to;
- no one will help you carry your bag? (haha)
Wake-up, darn! life is a matter of choice, your single and sad because you choose to be sad. I am single and happy because I choose to be happy.... ----and I choose to be single.. hehe!
There are a lot of things to do rather than sulking because your single. Tons of people I know, all are stable but choose to be single. Instead of worrying about it, make yourself busy, reach those people you spoke rarely, help your siblings - they might have a problem they can't share with parents, make time for your self, walk with GOD above all. :)
"A friend once told me, "am keeping my status - single- because I don't want to mess it out of being married then back single again"
3. Anime's are for Kids:
My ten cents:
Tssssh, give me a break, I rather watch anime than those daily soap operas. Imagine, today's telenovela always dealing with the lost of a son/daughter - haha! There are many good anime's that discusses the daily life of a person where you can actually relate base on your day-to-day life. I've written a blog related to this before you can check it on my list.
4. The Asian Novela:
The Fascination of the korean novela;
My ten cent:
Though I watch Asian novela's my self, I get over it so easily. I follow some story specially when its unique and nicely written. So, whichever story you followed go for it and enjoy your kilig moments.
Few things that I need to remind you though:
- that if the rich guy will marry a poor lady, he is definitely ugly - hahah! ( and flower boys will never marry a poor because education is kinda expensive and rich people are now home schooled.. bwahah)
- that if the king marries a commoner, he will lose the throne not unless he is old.. hehe
- and lets get over about that amnesia thing, its getting really old;
- if your watching an action novela make sure that the hero is not only good looking BUT, got the right size, I mean body size, just to convince the audience that, that fist can destroy a lovely face.. :|
- that they are an actor/actress who portrayed the lead character and in reality they can never be yours so get over it;
Generally, what I was written was based on my views on the said topic. Let's all be reasonable and put things in reality.
There are few errors on this article but I will review/proof read this one soonest, for the meantime hope you enjoy reading.
