Capturing anything just for Fun
Traveling actually is not what I made for, but if I have a chance I go with friends on a backpacking adventure. One way of enjoying a trip is taking pictures right? that's the most important thing in my opinion, 'cause every time you look at it, it brings back memories.
During trips, i got this obsession of taking some pictures of historical places /logo's, informative signage or just some plain stuff comes along my way.
Sharing below few pictures I've collected.
Taken October 2010 in Cebu City
Magellan's Cross still in Cebu City
Got a chance to visit Zamboanga last year, its an old city where you can still find old buildings way back from the Spanish era. They made a good job there preserving such gifts.
Fort Pilar in Zamboanga, August 2010
Zamboanga's official city seal, August 2010
Brief history -Zamboanga's Kapitolyo
Kapitolyo ng Zamboanga City
Old BPI Building in Zamboanga City
Our trip to Coron in Palawan, last February 2011, even though there's a lot more to capture I never missed to take notice these two:
Posted beside the stairs, up to Mount Tapyas. |
The sign said it all |
When we visited Baguio, 2nd week August 2011, I was given a chance to come closer by these two historical signage:
The Presidents summer residence (ganda naman, pang summer lang yan ha, ibang Filipino walang bahay. hihihi)
Former site of The Philippine Military Academy
Lastly, way back February 2010, I was blessed to visit Hongkong, Macau and a side trip to Shenzhen China.
At Sky Terrace Hongkong
At Hongkong's Ngong Ping 360, please translate.. hehe
A day tour in Macau was perfectly fun. They spoke Chinese and Portuguese there and then who could miss the views around.
In Macau on our way to St. Pauls Ruins. (or somewhere in Senado square?)
Macau's famous egg tart, they now comes in smiley?
Ok, no need to explain.
A day in Shenzhen, China.
Splendid China.. :)
Ticket Office & Entrance?
During trips, it is not the beautiful places makes it an enjoyable adventure BUT how you enjoy the adventure with friends in those beautiful places.
